Early Career

Carlos Tevez started playing football at an early age and joined the All Boys youth club and then moved to Boca Juniors youth club.

Senior Club Football Career

Tevez moved to Boca Juniors senior team in 2001. He played 76 games for Boca Juniors and scored 26 goals in all competitions. In December of 2004, Tevez transferred to Brazilian side Sport Club Corinthians Paulista for a fee of $20 million.

On 31st August 2006, the day of the European transfer deadline, Tevez confirmed on his official website that both he and his Argentinean team-mate Javier Mascherano were signing for West Ham United football club.

Tevez played only a season at West Ham Utd scoring 15 goals in his 37 appearances for the club. In 2007 he moved to Manchester United. He was frustrated with Man Utd in 2008-2009 and then decided to move to City rivals Manchester City in 2009 Summer.

Carlos Tevez has played some key matches for Argentine and Manchester Utd. In his most noticeable appearances for Manchester United, he played 2007-2008 UEFA Champions League final against Chelsea in Moscow, which Man Utd won on penalties. Carlos Tevez scored on penalty in the shoot-out.

Current Status

Carlos Tevez is currently playing with Manchester City and Argentina as Striker. At Man Utd he played with some big names like Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Carrick, Van Der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs before moving to Man City in 2009 Summer.
