England squad not allowed to use Twitter at World Cup 2010
The English FA has banned Fabio Capello’s team from using popular online micro-blogging service Twitter.
Its important to note that a similar action was announced by Spanish FA earlier, Spain head coach vicente Del Bosque has strictly warned his players that they are not allowed to use any social networking site during World Cup and in pre-tournament games.

Recently, Brazlian midfielder Kaka said he was going to delete his wife’s Twitter account which she used to criticise Real Madrid manager Manuel Pellegrini for not giving full ninety minutes playing time for her husband during important La Liga and Champions League matches. Also last year, English striker Darren Bent used Twitter to criticise Tottenham management and Daniel Levy, but later Bent apologized on his actions.
