Manchester United are the champions of English Football for 2008-2009

Manchester United played a 0-0 draw with Arsenal at Old trafford to claim their EPL title for the 18th time to equal Liverpool’s record.

Before this weekends matches Man Utd only needed 1 point to win the title, while the second spot team was Liverpool 6 points behind United. So Man Utd’s goal-less draw was enough to secure the English Premier League title for the red devils. Sir Alex Ferguson still has to prepare for this UEFA Champions League final which will be played in 2 weeks time in Rome.
