Harry Redknapp with only third game as manager of Tottenham Hotspur have beaten the English Premier League leaders Liverpool 2-1 at White Hart Lane.

Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt gave the visitors an early lead, and in the first half Tottenham were all over the place defending. However in the second half of the match, Harry Redknapp made a few subtitutions which really worked for Spurs. David Bentley’s cross was headed in by the Liverpool defender’ Jamie Carragher resulting in an own goal. And into the injury time again it was Bentley whose shot was saved by the goal keeper Riena, but provided the Spurs player Darren Bent the opportunity to set up the goal for Roman Pavlechenko. 2-1 the final score and the Spurs revival continues.
